AC GD PILOT SSB DETAILS
Pilot Officers are also part of GD branch. A Pilot Officer gets an opportunity to work at shore Air Stations along the Indian coasts and also embark ships. ICG operates fixed wing aircraft for surveillance of the Exclusive Economic Zone. In addition, helicopters are embarked on Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV) to provide local surveillance and perform search and rescue mission at sea.Pilot officers are graduates in Science or Engineering
Educational Qualification ?
- General Duty & General Duty (Pilot) – Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Should have studied Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XII with 60% marks in aggregate in mathematics and physics.
AC GD PILOT SSB ?
- Vacancies – November & December
- Gender – Male
- Age Limit – 19 to 25 years (Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.)
- SSB Interview – July/Aug
- Basic Pay – Rs.56100/- per month
- TPhysical standard – Height for Asst Commandant (Pilot) and CPL holders- 162.5 cms.
