Prestigious Paths to Become an Indian Army Officer

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination and the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) provide women graduates a prestigious opportunity to join the Indian Armed Forces as commissioned officers. Through these entries, candidates can train at premier academies such as the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai for the Indian Army and the Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad for the Indian Air Force. These pathways are designed for aspirants who possess strong leadership qualities, confidence, discipline, and the determination to serve the nation with honor and pride.

Through CDS (OTA Entry) and AFCAT, women candidates can join the Indian Army and Indian Air Force under Short Service Commission roles in various branches. These entries open the door to challenging and rewarding careers where women officers lead teams, contribute to operational readiness, and play an important role in strengthening the defence forces of the nation.

At LWS (Learn with Sumit), candidates are trained with a focused and result-oriented approach to excel in the SSB Interview process, covering psychology tests, GTO tasks, personal interviews, communication skills, and the development of Officer Like Qualities (OLQs). With structured guidance, expert mentoring, and realistic practice sessions, LWS helps women aspirants confidently prepare for the selection process and move one step closer to wearing the uniform of the Indian Armed Forces.
